Compulsive cellular phone lifestyles of secondary school learners in Gauteng by D.H. Tustin (2015)

This report presents the first of its kind and aimed to determine problematic cell phone habits among a sample of 1 684 high school learners enrolled at 11 private and public secondary schools within Gauteng Province.  The study reports on cell phone use preferences, cell phone reliance as well as the prevalence of addictive cell phone behaviour emerging due to the hyper-connected lifestyles of the modern time.
